Again, the cable does not work with third party receiver, player or amplifier. Bose subwoofer models listed here require on/off control through 3.5mm plug which third party receiver, player or amplifier do not offer. For example, you cannot connect Acoustimass 9 to Onkyo or Yamaha receiver.
