    Let's start with the lens coatings.
    These binoculars have great multi-coated lenses on both the objectives and eyepieces. The objective have reflections cyan (blue-green). The reflections from the rear are a magenta (red-violet). A premium pair of binoculars. As just a normal set of binoculars these would be very good. But these were designed for Astronomy.
    There are Ultra-High Contrast (UHC) filters built-in behind both objectives. As shown in two photos above, there is a switch to switch these filters in and out the light path.
