    Description

    Here's a mostly working BeoCenter 9500 from 1989.
The AM/FM tuner works great, and sounds fantastic, even with the budget speakers I used to check it out.
The CD player door opens, but it won't play a CD.  I can hear the disc spin for a few seconds, but it gives up without making a sound.
The cassette door did not open when I got it, so I disassembled it just enough to manually open the door.  The cassette player will play a tape in both directions, but it will not fast forward or reverse.  Pressing 'record' causes the tape to stop. (I got the year it was  manufactured from a sticker inside.)
Cosmetically, it looks pretty good.  There is a ding in the mirror surface on the top, but that's the only thing noticeable.  The cassette door is undamaged.  Also, several snaps are broken on cosmetic trim pieces around the upper display panel.  Nothing shows, but you have to be careful when moving the unit not to drop the loose pieces.  It could use some new rubber feet on the bottom, too.
B & O used their own special connectors for the speaker outputs, and the appropriate wires are included.  They are both about 40 feet long, but they have been cut and spliced at least a couple of times to connect them to non-B & O speakers.  Everything needed to set them back up for B & O speakers is here, but one of the insulator caps at the speaker end is broken off.
It will be well packaged with Styrofoam corner protectors and lots of bubble wrap and packing peanuts.  Shipping will be with FedEx or UPS, whichever is less expensive.  Local pickup would be quite welcome.
