Beyerdynamic MMX 300 Closed Back Headset - Excellent Condition - Extra Pads

This is for a 1st Generation MMX 300 in excellent shape with extra pads for it.
The 1st generation has a flat frequency response curve up to the treble bump at 13.5khz.
Works and sounds terrific, and everything hand washed and dried with a dehumidifer.
The Gen1 is great for mixing, or music and gaming where you want accuracy without added bass and treble getting in the way.
Includes Brainwavez Velour pads which are new, the DT770 grey pads which have good foam and the original black factory pads, which are also clean but foam isn't as pufffy). Also included is a Soundblaster Play!3 which is a nice amp/dac if you have a system you'd like to use it on and just plug into a free USB slot (better than any onboard sound or laptop sound system). It has it's own version of SB Command with surround options and a high gain mode for more power.
Adult owned by non smoker in a home office setting, these are clean and with original box and carry case. They're closed back so they offer privacy and don't leak sound like the open back designs. They do well with amplification like a gaming sound card that has some power. I'd personally recommend a Soundblaster AE-5 or higher. The microphone is amazing, it's good for podcasting or streaming as well as Zoom calls or game chat.
These are based on the HS400 Signum design (used for training in the European Space Program) and it's much faster in attack/decay than the DT770 which people wrongly mistaken it for (The Gen 2 uses DT770 drivers which I don't care for). In the photos is the measured frequency response curve, so you can get an idea if you prefer it over the overly emphasized profile of the 2nd gen models.
