With this decoder, Busch field and mine railways, which are driven by a 3V micromotor, can be controlled via a digital center. The decoder has 5 traction current outputs - one continuous output and four outputs that can be switched using the function keys of the digital center. This means that the traction current can be switched on four separate track sections.
The digital decoder can be used with DCC centers from all manufacturers and Allen Märklin centers. In DCC mode, the decoders can be operated with 14, 28 or 128 speed steps and can be set to long addresses. In Motorola mode, the decoder has an address range from 1 to 255 (however, only 80 addresses can be reached with the Märklin control panels 6020 and 6021).
The decoders are programmable via Motorola and DCC centers with Allen known programming types. Minimum speed, maximum speed as well as starting and braking deceleration are adjustable.
The locomotives of the field and mine railways do not have to be converted. The decoder is also suitable for conventional direct current operation, so that the locomotive speed can also be controlled via the decoder with a normal regulating transformer (up to 16 V =).
