The Max Huncke Chemical Co. - Red Falcon Embalming Fluid Bottle.
In the 1890s Max Huncke (pronounced hunky) were in business in Brooklyn, NY and St Louis, MO.
Red Falcon was their main product. Funeral homes would buy cases of these 64oz bottles full of their embalming fluid. Once they were used they would send the cases back with the empty bottles and they would be refilled.
Many morticians also used the empty bottles to hold the blood that was removed from the bodies.
11" tall. Blue/Green tint to the glass. Cork is in tact.
