    Pit Bull magazine Pit Bull Quarterly 1995-1996
    I started this Pit Bull historical publication in 1995, an offshoot of Bulldog Review which covered both Pit Bulls and American Bulldogs. With this Pit Bull exclusive publication I was able to delve deeply into it’s colorful historical past. The 5 issue package has a total of 320 pages.
    Each issue had plenty of reader comments in the Point of View section. Some of the articles included: Target, The Immortal Beast, The Story of Going Light Barney, The Three Bobs, The Name of the Game,  by Richard F Stratton, Dog Owners Need To Wake Up, The Good Old Days, by Gary Hammonds, Life Of Trouble by Buddy Anderson, The Fabulous Molly Bee by Bob Stevens, A Little on Champion Aligator by Bullplug, Ch. Sundance by Mike Barasch, Senator Vest’s Tribute To A Dog (from May 1942 Bloodlines),etc. Other articles authored by Bob Stevens, Norman H. Hooten, Rushin Bill (Gr Ch 35), Fredric Maffei, E L Mullins, John Tatman, Mike Johnson. Complete reprints of PIT NEWS magazine (June 1928, August 1940 Bloodlines magazine, 1931 July Bloodlines magazine, The Pit Dog magazine April 1918, and May 1942 Bloodlines magazine. In 1996 I sold this magazine to Rushin Bill of Gr Ch 35 fame who changed the name to Pit Bull Reporter. Rusty staples with small amount of rust stains on spine. 5 - 64 page issues. 320 pages.
