This is a super clean PS Audio P500 power regenerator offering two filtered ports which are good for high current amps and 4 fully regenerated ports for other audio gear but remember you should not plug turntables, tape decks and some tuners / steamers into a power regenerator. Neither my Yamaha FM tuner or my Cambridge Audio 851N streamer seemed to like it, so I‘ve gone a filter only route. When I got this unit, the six main 3300uf caps were pretty dried out, so I carefully replaced those with correct spec high quality parts. Also, I never saw the fan running, so I pulled that thinking it needed replacing, but tested it and it was fine, so I reconnected it and replaced it. I can only think I never ran the unit hot enough to trigger it, as I also pulled the front control board, which drives the fan, and tested all the caps on that as well and every one was measuring to spec (measured in situ), so buyer beware but I think it is fine, just like to be 100% honest when I sell used hifi gear, especially when I have worked on it it. I can fix most things but I am not an expert on everything, hence the 9 starting price on a ,000+ MSRP item and the ‘parts’ classification. All of that said, it is supplying power to all the rear outlets and all the front panel functions and modes are working 100% (the display is fine, the missing pixels in my pictures are just how my phone camera scans). Will ship with an AC cable. Questions welcome.
