Rega DAC-R 32bit/192kHz/Wolfson Excellent condition
Up for sale it my DAC-R. I'm am the second owner, I have been using it in my 2 channel dedicated system, mainly using the USB input from my computer and also some listening with a Cambridge Audio CD transport through the toslink connection. It sounds wonderful and is built like a tank; heavy for its size; feels substantial. It is a great sounding DAC, it's very dynamic and does what it's supposed to do. I also enjoy the simplicity of the way it looks. Overall, I was quite pleased with it, however, recently I ran across a deal on a Naim DAC-V1 that I couldn't pass up. I was perfectly satisfied with the DAC-R and hopefully will be with the DAC-V1 as well. I have no need for both, so the DAC-R is for sale.
What appears to be blemishes in the photos are just reflections from the counter top. The DAC-R was kept in a clean smoke-free environment. I'm very particular when buying used equipment and I'm even more particular about how I maintain them; this unit was no exception. The unit is in mint to near mint condition. The remote is also in near mint condition. The box and packing are pristine as well.
For shipping, the DAC-R will be double boxed and insured to purchase price. I can generally ship next day; sometimes same day depending on circumstances.
