This kit offers better control and less sponge than the standard kits 46mm ball while being slightly heavier and not quite as precise as the higher weight rated Extreme XB heads.  All in all, this is a great kit for the average user, it combines smooth control of a large surface area 52mm ball with the precision of the Aluminum leg set and top of the line Hog Saddle Mod7 clamp. A high precision yet budget minded option.
MOD7 HOG Saddle

This is Hog Saddle's latest model HOG Saddle with some improvements from the original design. The MOD7 is currently a standard issue item in the US Marine Corps and other various Special Operations Units.
List of improvements:
1.  Opens 1/4" wider than the original model.   (2 11/16" Open, 1 1/2" Closed)
2.  Incorporates a retention button screw to prevent unintentional disassembly in the field
3.  Weighs 15.8 ounces
4.  Added cut-outs to the base of the HOG Saddle. These narrow slots better integrate with tripod heads or QR plates that have anti-rotation video pins.

The PIG0311-G tripod
is based on the budget-friendly yet capable SLIK DX700PRO tripod. We partnered up with Slik and started putting together several prototypes with beefed-up specs, tighter tolerances and shooter specific features that are not readily available. Eight months of testing later we came up with this field tripod.
During testing, we used several 50 cal rifles (Barrett M107 & McMillan Tac50) with great results regarding officer feedback and repeatable shot placement. Being unsure of what kind of garage cannon that might be placed on the PIG0311-G tripod, we decided to stick with a conservative 26-pound load rating.
A no-nonsense field tripod designed for the active outdoorsman.  This tripod was meant to get dirty, be thrown in trucks, and be used outside. Paired with a direct mounted PIG Saddle, this tripod can do almost anything a more expensive tripod kit can do (At a fraction the cost).
The GNN FB-52 ball head is a great match with this tripod.
The short center column allows the shooter to get all the way down to an 11.5” high prone position.
A removable, load-bearing hook has been added to the bottom of the center column to hang weight, such as a backpack. The added weight will greatly increase tripod stability.
The center column can fully rotate 365 degrees. This is a great feature for those who intend to direct mount a saddle to the PIG0311-G tripod.
The tripod’s feet incorporate interchangeable rubber or spiked feet. (Yes, the spiked feet are included)
26 lbs heavy duty weight rating. But don’t be surprised to see Barrett 50 cal’s being popped off this thing.

GNN FB-52 Ball Head
The best bang for the buck, 44 lbs load rating & 1.48 lbs overall weight.
The Sunwayfoto GNN FB-52 is the strongest model of the FB series ball heads. It exemplifies the customary principle of simplicity. It's easy-to-carry, easy-to-operate, and provides customers with a stable and smooth user experience. This ball head is exquisitely machined from T6061 aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, with Type-III hard-anodized finish. Compared with other models of the same series, the GNN FB-52 has the highest load rating and largest ball joint diameter for extended service life. We made the FB-52 even shorter by machining off the neck of the ball head (creating the GNN series). This reduces damaging stress/leverage to internal parts, increases stability, & still allows for 22° of elevation adjustment. Approximately 46
