noticed (quite by accident) that the original shipping tape had previously been broken, therefore, re-taped by Sonic Frontiers :: I know this as originally I acquired this unit directly from Sonic Frontiers (many-many years ago) :: so, if this is a concern to you -

It has come to my attention that most reading this listing might not be familiar with this design and it's outstanding performance. Units having an original cost several times this product, had difficulty attaining the standard of performance that this unit offers and the very reasonable cost represented a benchmark of value of performance. What can you expect of the sound quality? An extremely natural sound quality of high resolution and proper representation of body and weight, which collectively are rarely achieved, bring a life to music that parallels the sound quality of what natural live sound is originally. Regarding the model number. Other than TransDAC, there is no other model identification on either the shipping carton or the unit itself. It is simply known as the TransDAC.

. This represents a remarkable opportunity to acquire this unique audio signal processor in original new condition, so many years later.
Most recently, it has additionally come to my attention, once again by an owner of one of these remarkable units, that it was indeed designed with the Burr-Brown DAC's,  as I  have previously indicated, They are the PCM 1702  Please accept my apology for this inexcusable cycle of errors.
This is a solid state design, without any tubes in the circuity, resulting in considerably quite and pure sonic performance, which will not disappoint the most discerning lover of
high fidelity music performance

Of course, as already indicated in the listing, shipping within the United States is free.
Care will be made in all packaging to insure arrival in the same condition as before shipping. For this reason, I have already double boxed for the safest possible shipping, which is to ship the original shipping carton within another larger shipping carton, and place foam inserts around the original shipping carton. This is a requirement, and certainly a consideration for any purchaser, to further insure safe delivery. Confirmation of receipt is required, so you must sign for receipt of delivery yourself. No exceptions.
