Photo 1: The full collection
Photos 2-4: Armored knight or crusader on horseback. About 3 inches tall. His flag broke off in one piece, included, and seems quite fixable or fine to display as is since he still has his armor, weapon, and steed. No other condition issues with this or the other figures. Makers mark on bottom of base: Britains LTD Made in England. According to the internet this is the William Britains Mounted Knight Cross of St George Bearer Agincourt #1662,
designed in 1951 by Roy Selwyn-Smith
. One sold on eBay on July 10, 2021 for plus shipping.
Photos 5-8: Knights on horseback. Four riders, separate from and interchangeable with six horses. Each horse has makers mark CBG Made in France on bottom of base. Figures on horses are about 3 inches tall.
Photos 9-12: Eight knights with shields and weapons
MATERIAL
These vintage figures likely are cast from lead. They are hand painted, which may mitigate this, but I would recommend researching this, following any necessary precautions and not giving them to young children to play with.
CONDITION
Everything appears complete and sturdy except for the flag as described. I have attempted to pack this lot very securely but please note that some small parts may get jostled in shipping. I believe they will be fine but if you're not willing to take any chances with shipping you're welcome to pick them up in person.
